Danton S. Dungy, MD
After practicing in the Valley of the Sun for the last 15 years, I decided to open my own orthopedic surgical practice in Chandler, AZ. As the Founder and CEO of The Dungy Orthopedic Center, I take pride in the professionalism that will be provided to you as a patient.
I was taught to be proud of the work that I do and thus the name of my practice. I am board certified orthopedic surgeon with a sub-specialization in adult reconstruction (joint replacement). I hold membership in the AMA, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and as a fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) since 2006. I received my B.S. degree in Microbiology at the University of Maryland at College Park during which time I worked as an intern in the Clinical Pathology Department at the National Institutes of Health and performed genetic research at the Johns Hopkins University. I earned my medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed my general surgical internship and orthopedic residency at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C..

Travis M. Tirk, PA-C
I am originally from Spokane, Washington where my passion for helping others began. After earning my degree in Kinesiology, and nearly a decade of athletic training experience, I was introduced to the concept of patient care that has helped me to provide the most comprehensive and individualized attention to our patients.
Delivering quality care for the orthopedic needs of others has become my focus over the past 5 years and in the January of 2018, I had the pleasure of joining the Dungy Orthopedic Center. I look forward to helping others achieve positive therapeutic and surgical outcomes. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, exercising, and outdoor activities such as fly-fishing.
