Danton S. Dungy, MD
After practicing in the Valley of the Sun for the last 15 years, I decided to open my own orthopedic surgical practice in Chandler, AZ. As the Founder and CEO of The Dungy Orthopedic Center, I take pride in the professionalism that will be provided to you as a patient.
I was taught to be proud of the work that I do and thus the name of my practice. I am board certified orthopedic surgeon with a sub-specialization in adult reconstruction (joint replacement). I hold membership in the AMA, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and as a fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) since 2006. I received my B.S. degree in Microbiology at the University of Maryland at College Park during which time I worked as an intern in the Clinical Pathology Department at the National Institutes of Health and performed genetic research at the Johns Hopkins University. I earned my medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed my general surgical internship and orthopedic residency at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C..

I take my time with our patients, making sure they fully understand their diagnosis, their operative and non –operative treatment options. I strive to make sure our patients feel comfortable with the decision making process and overall orthopedic care. I will listen to you and your needs. Together, we will devise the best possible orthopedic care plan for you.
